CM Jaganmohan Launches House Construction Scheme

The Chief Minister of the Andhra Pradesh YS Jaganmohan Reddy today launched a massive house Construction scheme in the state. In the first phase, 1560227 houses would be constructed by spending Rs. 28,084 crore.

Speaking on the occasion he said that there should not be any poor family without a house. He said that they were trying to ensure that there should not be any poor family without a house in the state.

He said that they were laying the foundations for the poor man’s houses amid a festive atmosphere.

He said that they were taking up the scheme in all 175 Assembly Constituencies of the state in the first phase. He said that they would complete the house constructions of the first phase by the end of June next year.

He said that they would take up the construction of the 12.70 lakh houses at a cost of Rs. 22,960 crore in the second phase.

Reddy said that they were spending a total of Rs. 50,940 crore for the construction of 28.30 lakh houses in the state.

He said that they were linking the scheme with PMAY and added that the houses would Be constructed in 17,000 Jagananna Colonies across the state.

He said that the colonies would have all basic amenities like drinking water, internet underground drainage facility and electricity facilities.
