CM KCR inaugurates Warangal collectorate complex

Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao today inaugurated the newly built Warangal district collectorate complex. The Chief Secretary of the state Somesh Kumar, state ministers Errabelli Dayakar Rao, Satyavathi Rathod, Vemula Prashant Reddy, Warangal Mayor Gundu Sudha Rani and others took part in the ceremony.

The complex was built in 6.73 acres of land and has a built-up area of 2.5 lakh square feet. The CM earlier laid the foundation stone for the construction of a multi-specialty hospital on the premises of old  Central prison premises in Warangal.

The hospital will be built on 60 acres of land and will have 24 floors. The hospital will also have a 2000 bed capacity and 35 supers specialty departments. The hospital building will also have a helipad on the terrace of the 24th floor.

He also inaugurated a newly built building on the premises of Kaloji Narayana Rao  Health University. KCR also paid tributes at the statue of professor Jaya Shankar at Ekasila park.
Speaking on the occasion he said that they would change the name of Warangal urban and Warangal rural to Hanmakonda and Warangal and added that the orders would be issued during the next two days.

He said that the collectorate complex building was built in a way to highlight the greatness of the Warangal city. He opined that there was a need to change the name of the district collector while noting that the term collector was used to define the collector of taxes in the past. He announced that the state government would set up a college in Warangal.

Palle pragarhi from July 1

The CM announced that they would launch palle pragathi and pattana pragathi programs from July 1, 2021, and added that the programs would be held from July 1 to July 10. He said that they would also hold Harithaharam program along with the palle pragathi program.

Corona can be defeated with courage

The Chief Minister said that the coronavirus could be defeated by courage and added that he had also overcome it by consuming only pills of medicine. He urged the people to not get scared by rumors.

He Urged media persons to not telecast news in order to threaten the people of the state. He said that several people were buying oxygen cylinders and medicines out of fear.
