Hyderabad: Caretaker Minister KT Rama Rao today appealed to intellectuals lot to take on the opposition parties for carrying out misinformation campaign against the TRS leadership. KT Rama Rao exhorted the educated and intellectuals to fight against such malicious campaign being carried out by the opposition parties and stop them from making false and baseless charges. Addressing a conference of “Telangana Vikasa Samithi” here he said that the congress and its allies are resorting to false propaganda against the TRS regime. We have reached the people at their doorsteps and they are ready to support KCR leadership he said.
Telangana got statehood after about one and half decades of struggle and schemes have been designed to cater to the needs of people and meet their aspirations he said. Our schemes are aimed at addressing the issues of water, funds and jobs while the opposition is stalling growth by moving courts. He slammed the congress for stalling distribution of Bathukamma saries among women. The congress is synonymous for corruption, nepotism and dynast rule.
Our efforts are to get waters, use funds for growth and provide jobs to our youth. We have redesigned the projects to irrigate about one crore acres and the opposition is moving courts he said. The congress regime began Pranahitha Chevella only to tap 16 tmc waters while the TRS dispensation has redesigned it to get 160 tmc waters so the budgetary estimations have been increased. Mission Kakatiya project is nearing completion to supply safe waters to households in rural pockets he said. The people are aware of this conspiracy of the congress which is making last ditch efforts to stall growth in Telangana.
