Congress slapped notices to three Gahlot loyalists in Rajasthan

Amid the political tussle between the two congress groups in Rajasthan – one led by Chief Minister Ashok Gahlot and another by Sachin Pilot, it is said that a report has been placed before the party Chief Sonia Gandhi wherein the whole situation has been explained in length along with recommendation for action against leaders found violating party discipline.

However, it is learned that no action will be initiated against the Ashok Gahlot. The action against a few ministers of Gahlot government is on the cards especially against two loyalist ministers such as Pratap Singh Khachariyavas and Shanti Dhariwal and they may soon face the wrath of the party chief for violating the discipline.

The two senior Congress leaders Mallikarjun Kharge and Ajay Maken – who were sent as observers to ascertain the whole situation, had prepared the report and placed it before the party chief Sonia Gandhi for further action.

However, it is said that no action will be taken against Chief Minister Ashoke Gehlot but his few loyalists will face the high cammand’s wrath.

Meanwhile, the congress party slapped notices to three ministers that include Shanti Dhariwal, Dharmendra Rathore and Mahesh Joshi on the recommendations of the party observers.

It is said that both the observers were forced to return from Jaipur without conducting a meeting as a number of party MLAs, considered as loyalists of Gahlot, put forth certain conditions for the selection of a successor in the state.  Taking serious note of a few MLAs’ recalcitrant attitude, the observers reported the same to the High Command and recommended a few names for a disciplinary action.

It is against this background the party issued show cause notices to two congress ministers and an MLA from Rajasthan that include Cabinet Minister Shanti Dhariwal, Minister and Congress Chief Whip in Assembly Mahesh Joshi and MLA Dharmendra Rathore.

According to reports, all these congress leaders have to respond within10 days of receiving the show cause notices.
