Hyderabad : Caretaker Minister T Harish Rao today said that the TRS rule had turned agriculture as a festival which was waste and loss making during the past regimes. He was addressing a meeting of RMPs and PMPs Ashirwada Sabha at Sidhipet here. He said that the Government spent about Rs 2 cr providing training to the local doctors to serve in the villages. “We have achieved rapid development in just four and half years while the past governments failed to achieve in over 50 years. We are constructing Kaleshwaram project which is being visited by other states, Harish Rao said. However, the Congress has tied up with TD chief N Chandrababu Naidu who wrote letters against our irrigation projects to the Centre he fumed.

At a campaign in Siddipet, Harish Rao vowed to turn the town as Shudhipet by completing underground drainage facility soon. KCR offered Rs 250 cr to complete the drainage works and will change the shape of the town which has become a district after a dream of 40 years. He appealed to women and people to bless him with one lakh votes of majority in the elections. The women are blessing me at their door steps and I will repay until I breathe my last he said. With KCR cooperation we have completed all the works of facilities including modern Dhobhi Ghat a 10 bed dialysis center in the town. Education and health facilities have been increased and people are happy with development and growth he claimed.
