The city police today arrested a chartered accountant for spreading a fake GO which stated that the state government had once again imposed lockdown in Telangana.
Speaking to media persons Hyderabad CP Anjani Kumar said that the accrue had been identified as Sanjeev Kumar.
He said that the accused had forged the old GO issued by the state government last year to impose the Lockdown on and created the fake GO four days back. He also said that the accused circulated the GO on social media in order to mislead the people.
He did that they had seized a laptop and an iPhone used by the accused to commit the offense. He said that the accused had been working as the CA in a private firm.

The commissioner also said that the accused hailed from Nellore town. He urged the residents of the city to not believe in such fake GOs and added that all the admins of various WhatsApp groups to share such GOs only after ascertaining true facts.
