Hyderabad: As per the Government Guidelines, the Covid-19 positive cases are being allowed to be in-home isolation said the Commissioner, GHMC Lokesh Kumar, here today.
Commissioner further said GHMC, Police, and Health departments are coordinating in the implementation of these guidelines. About 2192 COVID-19 positive cases are in home isolation. Previously
Barricading was done at containment areas and at apartments that were visible to the public. At present containment is being done to the particular isolation home only. The health condition of home isolation
persons is being monitored twice daily through the phone from the Control Room. In case of emergency, the isolation persons can be easily shifted to the hospital for treatment, whereas previously it was difficult
Because of barricading the area and causing a delay in shifting the person to the hospital.
Do this on June 23 about 17 home isolation persons were shifted to the hospital in time for treatment on an emergency basis. An emergency number is given to the home isolation persons to call in case of emergency said the Commissioner.
