CPI Threatens To Storm Pragathi Bhavan If CM Fails To Allot Dbr Houses To Poor

The CPI today warned the State government that it would lay a siege to the Chief Minister’s Office Pragathi Bhavan if the government failed to allot double bed room houses to all the eligible poor. It also demanded that the State government regularize the houses of the poor living in government lands. The CPI staged a Mahadharna in front of the Medchal Collectorate today demanding that the government allot double bed room houses to all the eligible poor persons besides regularizing the houses of the poor constructed in government lands.

Speaking on the occasion, CPI State secretary Chada Venkat Reddy alleged that Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao’s words were tall but in practice nothing was happening. He alleged that the Chief Minister failed to implement even a single assurance made before the elections.

The Medchal district CPI organised “Vanta-Vaarpu” program with thousands of people. Chada launched the program and had lunch with the people. State CPI leaders VS Bose, G Ailaiah Goud, S Balamallesh, CH Dasharatha, Sailu Goud, R Krishna Murthy, Anil Kumar, Sahadev, Varamma, Palle Narsimha and others participated in the program. (NSS)
