Dharani Portal Become a Game Changer in Land Administration : Chief Secretary

Telangana Chief Secretary Somesh Kumar today said that under the visionary and inspirational leadership of Chief Minister KCR, Dharani could become a game-changer that has brought a radical change in the land administration system of the state.

At a meeting held at BRKR Bhavan today to mark the successful completion of one year of the launch of Dharani, Chief Secretary released a booklet on the occasion. He recalled the Chief Minister’s observation that Dharani was the major initiative after the formation of the state of Telangana.

Expressing satisfaction and happiness over the strides taken by Dharani over the last one year, he said that the web portal has witnessed 5.14 crore hits and over 10 lakh transactions in one year.

Referring to the challenges and hurdles faced in the initial stages of the launch, Chief Secretary felt that in spite of certain vested interests trying hard to pull down the system, the ability to adapt itself to meet the ever-increasing requirements of the various stakeholders has been the hallmark of Dharani.

Different transaction modules have also been added to redress various kinds of grievances, he added.
