Hyderabad: Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao today said that Vikarabad is like Ooty to Telangana State.
Addressing a Chevella segment campaign for polls, he said the TB Hospital in the segment used to treat lakhs of patients. During Nizam period, this hospital was launched and the hillock has huge number of medicinal plants, he said. In combined State our region was deprived of development and the TRS on coming to power to put it on right track. KCR urged people to win the polls as their victory is key for democracy. He charged the Opposition parties with spreading false charges. Vote for the TRS to develop more and reject the Opposition parties, he said.
KCR appealed to people not to get confused to the Congress and BJP false charges and publicity. They come during polls and do not return till next elections, he said. “TD Chief N Chandrababu Naidu who was chiding me everyday had failed to develop AP after bifurcation. Recalling gloomy days in the State five years ago, He said after the TRS took the reigns of State, the new government started supplying 24 hour-power to farm sector and others.
“Though there was no demand, he made Vikarabad as a district along with others and we will give increased pension to disabled and other beneficiaries. Palamur lift waters will be given to Vikarabad for irrigation and drinking waters through Mission Bhagiratha”. He also said he would conduct ENT and dental tests campaigns for the people. (NSS)
