EFLU Partners with Spain to Promote Spanish Language Education

The English and Foreign Languages University (EFLU), Hyderabad, has taken a significant step in fostering Spanish language education in India by signing a Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) with Instituto Cervantes, New Delhi, and the Embassy of Spain, in collaboration with the International Centre for Spanish Language, University of Salamanca.

The MoA was formalized on January 20 during a ceremony held at the EFLU campus. Prof. Lakshmi Haribandi, Vice-Chancellor (In-charge) of EFLU, and Dr. Maria Gil Burmann, Director of Instituto Cervantes, New Delhi, signed the agreement in the presence of the EFLU Registrar and other distinguished officials.

As part of this strategic partnership, the Department of Hispanic and Italian Studies at EFLU has launched a comprehensive Teacher Training Programme, scheduled from January 20 to 31. This initiative aims to enhance the skills of Spanish language educators by providing access to innovative teaching methodologies and expertise from distinguished faculty.
