Etala asks DGP to ensure clean & green environment in police stations

Hyderabad: Health Minister Etala Rajender today asked the Director General of Police to take immediate steps to ensure Clean and Green environment in all the police stations in the State.

The minister rang up Mahender Reddy and asked him to see that water in the seized vehicles parked at police stations do not become places for mosquito breeding. “Ask your officials to see that the water was removed from these vehicles and help stop possible spread of mosquito related fevers and diseases, he said.

Rajender said the seized vehicles kept in the police stations are becoming points for mosquitoes and menace. “Ensure that water in vehicles should not become breeding ground for the mosquitoes due to rains”, the Minister directed Mahender Reddy. He also said due to rains, water remains in the seized vehicles, tyres and open places at the police stations at the same time. He also said the police stations should maintain clean environments in their vicinity.  (NSS)
