Farmers to Get Rythu Bandu Amount from June 28

Telangana government will start crediting money to farmers’ bank accounts from June 28 under the flagship Rythu Bandhu scheme for the Kharif season.

Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao on Wednesday directed Chief Secretary Somesh Kumar to initiate the process in this regard and steps should be taken to credit the amount into farmer’s accounts as per the order of priority followed earlier.

Farmers in Telangana will receive Rs 5,000 per acre from the State Government. The scheme has been one of the major welfare measures by the State Government since its commencement in 2018 and the government had been regularly crediting the amounts at the time of commencement of Kharif and rabi seasons.
