Tragedy struck on Monday when a car crashed into the road median on the PVNR Expressway near Rajendranagar, resulting in the death of one person.
Authorities suspect the incident may be linked to car racing, as the driver, identified as Ganesh, was reportedly traveling at high speed. The vehicle lost control near Pillar No. 296, crashing into the median and subsequently rolling multiple times before landing on the opposite lane.
Ganesh sustained severe injuries and tragically succumbed on the spot. Upon notification, police promptly arrived at the scene and transferred the body to Osmania General Hospital for post-mortem examination.

Investigations are underway to determine if speeding under the influence of alcohol played a role in the accident. Authorities are also gathering information regarding the number of occupants in the vehicle at the time of the mishap.
The incident caused significant traffic congestion on the busy flyover. Traffic police swiftly removed the damaged vehicle and managed the flow of vehicles, diverting traffic as necessary.
