FIR reveals chilling sight that awaited cops at Burari’s house of horror

Horrific details have emerged about the Burari death case that hit headlines across the country. The north Delhi locality was stunned this Sunday when news emerged of 11 members of a family being found dead inside their home. Ten of them were found hanging.

The police have ruled out foul play so far, and an occult angle is being suspected in the horrific deaths.

While investigations are still on, chilling details have emerged from the case FIR accessed by India Today TV. The FIR mentions a stunning sequence of events after the police received information about the incident and reached the Burari home.

According to the FIR, a call was made to the police at 7:25 am. A police team was dispatched to the family’s home in Sant nagar in Burari.

As senior inspector from the police team went to the first floor of the building, he saw ten bodies hanging from the ceiling, four of which were men and six were women. Body of an elderly woman was found in a different room near an almirah.

The deceased were identified as Narayani Devi (77), who was found dead on the floor, her daughter Pratibha (57), her two sons Bhavnesh (50) and Lalit Bhatia (45).

Bhavnesh’s wife Savita (48) and their three children – Meenu (23), Nidhi (25) and Dhruv (15) were also among the deceased.

Lalit Bhatia’s wife Tina (42) and their 15-year-old son Shivam were also among those found dead along with Pratibha’s daughter Priyanka (33), who was engaged last month and supposed to get married this year end.

The FIR goes on to describe the ways in which the dead bodies were tied. It is still a mystery if any of the deceased hung everyone and then committed suicide.

Lalit (hands tied, mouth covered), Shubham (hands tied, mouth and eyes covered), Tina (mouth covered), Bhuvnesh (feet tied, eyes covered), Priyanka (hands tied, mouth and eyes covered), Neetu (hands, feet tied, mouth covered), Savita (feet tied, mouth and eyes covered), Monu (feet tied), Dhruv (feet tied, mouth covered, eyes covered)

The condition in which the bodies were found may be important as it may shed light on which of the family members hung himself/ herself last.
