Following reports of outrage among citizens over an inordinate delay in completing several infrastructure projects in and around the city, the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) convened a meeting of officials mainly from the engineering department to discuss the matter and ratchet-up the pace of works. Apart from other projects, the officials reviewed the works of Zoo Park to Aram Ghar flyover bridge and decided to expedite the works.

It is pertinent to mention here that the Zoo Park to Aram Ghar grade separator work is causing great inconvenience to the people especially the commuters who regularly travel through this stretch also known as National Highway-44. Besides, other minor incidents too come to test the patients of the local people who are now resorting to protests every often to bring the issues to the notice of the authorities.

Only a few days ago, the area saw a devastating protest held by the local people against the representatives of both TRS and MIM party representing the area with shared boundaries.
