The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) has launched a major digital upgrade by making all property tax services available online, enhancing citizen convenience and reducing dependency on MeeSeva centres. Now, Hyderabad residents can access GHMC property tax services directly via the official GHMC website under the Online Services section.
This step marks a significant move toward e-governance in Hyderabad, enabling residents to handle property-related issues without needing to visit government offices. Citizens can now log in from home, use their Property Tax Identification Number (PTIN), and upload required documents such as sale deeds to submit applications. All requests will be automatically forwarded to GHMC revenue officials for verification and approval.
Key GHMC online services now available include:
- Self-assessment of property tax
- Property tax revision
- Assessment exemption for ex-servicemen
- Mobile number update in property tax records
- Door number correction
- Owner name correction
- Vacancy remission applications
The GHMC has also announced that the much-awaited Mutation of Property service is currently in development and will soon be added to the online platform.

With this digital shift, GHMC aims to streamline property tax in Hyderabad, reduce processing time, and increase transparency in urban governance. The initiative is part of GHMC’s broader smart city goals and digital public service reforms.
This online transformation empowers citizens with faster, more efficient tools to manage their property tax responsibilities and ensures that services are accessible, transparent, and user-friendly.
