Hyderabad: As part of various steps to control the spread of the Corona Virus, the GHMC has taken up spraying of Sodium Hypochlorite chemical on the main roads of Himayath Nagar. Mayor Dr. Bonthu Rammohan inspected the operations.
Speaking on the occasion, the Mayor said six high-pressure spraying machines will be pressed into service on all the main roads in the city in a phased manner. He appealed to the citizens to follow the lockdown and support the government in controlling Coronavirus. He also asked those who returned from abroad to follow the protocol of home quarantine.
Simultaneously, the GHMC teams are also monitoring on this. The Control room at GHMC Head Office was monitoring the situation in coordination with the District officials of four districts, field teams, health, revenue, police, 104, 108 Departments. The citizens should utilize the relaxation period to procure essential commodities near their houses, he said and requested them to be at home
only up to March 31.
