The BJP in Goa lost two MLAs, after Pravin Zantye, a sitting MLA from the Mayem resigned as an official and from the party’s essential enrollment.
The acquiescence followed hours after Ports Minister in the BJP-driven government Michael Lobo, surrendered as Minister, MLAs, and from the party.
“The party I had joined on the word and confirmation of previous Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar isn’t a similar party today,” Zantye told journalists in the wake of leaving the party.
Zantye said that he would join the Maharashtrawadi Gomantak Party soon.
Prior to Monday, Lobo had said that he was stopping as Minister and from the BJP, blaming party pioneers for sidelining grassroots laborers.
