Serious crimes against innocent animals are not coming down even after stricter laws and punishments are getting imposed.
Goa’s capital Panaji witnessed a horrific episode of cruelty towards animals where a man killed two snakes and dragged them in his two-wheeler in public places.
The Goa Forest officials arrested the accused for killing the snakes and making a mockery out of their dead bodies.
“Department of Forest arrests FlavianoDiniz of Navelim-Telaulim for brutally killing two snakes and dragging them on a bike. The department seized the bike,” tweeted the Prime TV Goa.

The incident was brought to light on Monday when a video showing FlavianoDiniz brutally murdering the snakes and dragging them along got viral on social media.
According to a government representative, Flaviano was booked by the Forest Department officials immediately for the gruesome act.
Flaviano, the accused, stays in Navelim of South Goa district. He was arrested and charged under relevant sections of the Wildlife Protection Act on Monday.
In the viral video, the man can be seen killing two snakes with a stick. He hit the poor animals till they died. Later, he tied the heads of their carcasses to his two wheeler with a rope and dragged it on the road while he drove in public.

People captured his crime which he was blatantly carrying out in broad daylight.
The video reached the officials and the Principal Chief Conservator of Forests told the relevant team to identify and nab the man.
“The Principal Chief Conservator of Forests, Subhash Chandra, pro-actively instructed Forest Department officials to identify and arrest the accused, based on the video footage,” the spokesperson said.
With people becoming more and more heartless towards animals, there is no astonishment as the list of endangered species is growing by the day. White Rhinos, Indian Cheetah, Sumatran Rhino, Chinese paddlefish and many more are the animals which went extinct in the year 2019. Humans are forgetting that animals are important for the world to function. Every species of animals hold its own importance in nature and in bringing a balance in the atmosphere. With the advent of more dangerous and cruel acts against animals, soon they will be no animals left on Earth.
