Gone Prakash urges police to revive forgery case against Madhu Yashki

Hyderabad: Former MLA and chairman of APSRTC Gone Prakash Rao has lodged a complaint with the City Police Commissioner against former MP Madhu Yashki Goud alleging that he and his family members had used forged documents to obtain visas to visit the USA. “This was inquired by the city police in 2008 on the basis of my complaint ten years ago”, he recalled in his complaint.

In his complaint, Gone said an inquiry was conducted and the report was submitted to the Deputy Commissioner of Police, Detective Department on February 22, 2008. It concluded that Yashki, his two brothers and sister used fake documents to go to the USA. This was widely reported in both the print and electronic media, he mentioned.

He said it was distressing that even after more than ten years of that report no action has been taken against Yashki. He asked police not to hesitate to agree with him that this would send a wrong message to those who were committing crimes and even if the investigation was done, one could go scot-free. He requested the police to register a case against Yashki on the basis of the report submitted to the Detective Department”. He urged the police to bring the culprits to book. (NSS)
