Hyderabad: Karwan MLA Kausar Mohiuddin lodged a complaint with the City Police Commissioner Anjani Kumar alleging that the police were not initiating any action against the anti-social elements and local gundas though their activities were increased their peak.
In his complaint, Kausar stated that the local gundas and anti-social elements activities were increased mainly in Banjara Hills, Langar House, Golkonda, Humayun Nagar police station limits. The anti-social elements were supplying ganja and whitner to turn the innocent youth to bad path besides resorting to attacks in basthis. The anti-social elements were supplying liquor to the youth aged from 12 years to 18 years and making them to sell the same. These sort of anti-law activities were increased in Hakimpet area, Kausar said.
Reacting on the complaint, City Police Commissioner Anjani Kumar directed West Zone DCP to initiate action on the complaint lodged by Kausar. When asked, Kausar made it clear that he approached police as he failed to control the anti-social elements. (NSS)
