Municipal Minister KT Rama Rao today said that the government is committed to relieving the farmers of loans.
He said that they kept the promise of a loan waiver during the corona pandemic period. On Twitter, he said that the government waived off the loans of 35.19 lakhs farmers so far.
KT Rama Rao said that they waived off Rs 50000 so far benefiting 9 lakh farmers. We have already waived off Rs 1 lakh in 2014 and 2018 as promised, he said.

Other farmers who took the loans up to Rs 1 lakh will be relieved, KT Rama Rao said. He said that the government is helping the farmers to flourish in the agriculture sector.
