Amaravati: The Chief Minister of the State YS Jaganmohan Reddy today gave his green signal for the appointment of assistant professors in all the university of the state. He issued orders to this effect during a review meeting on the issue of higher education in the state.
Speaking on the occasion he issued orders for increasing gross enrolment of the students to 90 percent in higher education. He said that the state government would support the students of the state through fee reimbursement and vasati deevena schemes. He said that the enrolment ratio should go up with their welfare schemes.
He also said that they had introduced apprentice in degree courses. He said that they would provide one-year skill development training as part of the apprentice program and added that they would award honors after its completion.
