Gurram Yadagiri Reddy Passes away

Hyderabad: CPI senior leader, freedom fighter and former MLA Gurram Yadagiri Reddy passed away here today. He was 91.

Yadagiri Reddy was elected as MLA thrice from Ramannapet Assembly constituency in Nalgonda District. State CPI leaders expressed their condolences on the sudden demise and conveyed their sympathies to the bereaved family members.

KCR, others condole the death

Expressing his condolences over the death of former MLA and senior CPI leader Gurram Yadagiri Reddy, Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao recalled that Yadagiri Reddy had won on CPI ticket from Ramannapet Assembly segment in combined Nalgonda district for three terms from 1985 to 1994. He said Yadagiri Reddy was known for his simplicity and was committed to his party’s ideology till the end. He conveyed his condolences to members of the bereaved family.

Telangana State Planning Commission Deputy Chairman B Vinod Kumar also condoled the death of veteran CPI leader.
