Telangana State Legislative Council Chairman Gutha Sukender Reddy lashed out at the BJP-led union government for working against the federal spirit of the Constitution and obstructing the Telangana from not getting funds from the financial institutions.
Speaking to the media here on Wednesday, Gutha Sukender Reddy said the BJP government has been taking the decisions against the federal spirit of the democracy with the intention to grab powers of the State governments and it has been deliberately ignoring the genuine demands of Telangana mentioned in the State Bifurcation Act.
He expressed displeasure over the derogatory remarks made by BJP Telangana leaders who said that the Telangana State’s economy is going towards on the path of Srilanka, saying that the BJP leaders are hatching a conspiracy with some elements and are trying to create political unrest in the State by provoking the people in the name of caste and religion.

The State BJP leaders, instead of exerting the pressure on the union government to achieve the demands mentioned in the State Bifurcation Act, are indulging in cheap remarks against the TRS government and are trying to mislead the people, Gutha Sukender Reddy pointed out.
The Legislative Council Chairman also welcomed Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao’s decision of nominating Parthasaradhi Reddy to the Rajya Sabha from Telangana and said that he is deserved for the post.
