Harish, Niranjan bat for technology in farming

Hyderabad: Finance Minister T Harish Rao and Agriculture Minister S Niranjan Reddy today stated that Telangana Government gives top priority to the farm sector.

They released the agriculture wing official diary here and claimed that Chief Minister,  K Chandrasekhar Rao is keeping manifesto promises to protect farmers’ interests.  They lauded the services of agriculture and other departments in taking the rhythm Bandhu,  rythu Bhima, and 24-hour power and welfare.

They said that KCR has taken steps for promotions in all departments and there is no need to worry.  Yasangi farming is active with the government giving necessary support.  While the farm wing set a record by getting details of 1.45 cr acres under crop booking in the state.  They asked the officials to add technology for farming and educate farmers to adopt modern farm practices.

Ours is a farmer and people-friendly government being headed by the Chief Minister.  KCR himself is a farmer for a long time and determined for their welfare they said.  Rythu Vedikas are unique to unite the farming community to get MSP,  awareness on marketing, and training on the latest farm practices they said.

The ministers asked the agriculture and other wings to coordinate and take Technology to farmers to get more farm benefits in the future.  The KCR government set an example by offering Rs 5000 an acre to farmers they said. Despite the Corona effect, we didn’t stop welfare and offer Rs 5000 an acre in the state.  For free power the government spends, Rs 1000 crore a month, gave Rs 7515 crore for rythu Bandhu help, and Rs 1300 crore for rythu Bhima being spent by the KCR government.  No other states in the country are doing so and only appreciating us they said.
