Hyderabad: As a part of study tour to GHMC, Darshan Nag Lalpal, president, Fatehabad Municipal Council, Haryana, along with a team of 10 Councilors have called on GHMC Commissioner Dr B. Janardhan Reddy at the GHMC Head Office today. The Commissioner, while interacting with the elected representatives from Haryana, said Swachh Namaskaram for which the visitors responded with Swachh Namaskaram to the Commissioner and the officials.
The Commissioner said the GHMC main aim was to work together, to respect all while performing their duties with utmost care and maintaining discipline. In this connection, the GHMC provided dress code right from the ground level to top officials and as well as ministers to wear the jackets while performing the duties to have togetherness to work with more enthusiasm to make the city Clean and Green.
The Commissioner explained to them about various initiatives taken up by the GHMC like providing of toilets, involving Hotel Managements, Restaurants, Petrol Bunks for using the toilets for the convenience of the citizens. He also explained about segregation of garbage waste wet and dry from the households and various other initiatives which have been taken up and yielding good results to them.
Responding to the Commissioner’s explanation, the visitors were satisfied and praised the efforts of the GHMC officials and invited the Commissioner and the officials to visit their city to have good relations among the both the cities. Earlier, Additional Commissioners Sruthi Ojha, Musharaf Ali, Krishna, Damodar, Director, Urban Bidoviersity gave a power point presentation and explained about various activities of their wings to the visiting delegates.
