Hyderabad: IT Minister KT Rama Rao today stressed the need for a high-speed rail between Hyderabad and Vijayawada for more development.
He inaugurated an RDO office in Huzur Nagar and planted saplings in the premises with minister Jagadish Reddy and MP Uttam Kumar Reddy and others.
On the occasion, KTR stated that Hyderabad is an important metro city in the country while Vijayawada is a noted financial hub. We will make efforts for high-speed rail between the two cities he said. There will be more development along the highway on getting the high-speed train the minister hoped.
He instructed officials to work for development in all areas without any politics. Telangana state increased revenue division offices from 43 to 73 he said. Besides the development of lambadi thandas and small villages as grama panchayats, we have increased 10 districts to 33 for better development in rural areas he said.
KTR greeted Uttam Kumar Reddy for completing his tenure of five years as TPCC Chief.
