Hyderabad: Hindu Sanghatan president Karunasagar Kashimshetty has complained against CPM National Leader Sitaram Yechury, for his offensive remarks on Hindu sacred texts, Ramayana and Mahabharata, hurting the religious sentiments of Hindus at large.
Karunasagar submitted a written complaint to the SHO of Saidabad police Station stating that Yechury has resorted to insult and annoy Hindus by passing derogatory remarks denunciating the sanctity of sacred texts openly without any fear of law. He further said that the acts of Yechury defamed the Hindu religion by spreading lies and hate against Hindu Epics and scriptures. He requested the police department to take necessary action against the CPM Leader for his derogatory and offensive remarks. (NSS)
