“Hindustan is a Hindu Rashtra,” reteriats RSS Chief Mohan Bhagwat

Amid the reports of dialogues with Muslim scholars and leaders, the RSS Chief Mohan Bhagwat, while addressing a gathering on the occasion of Dussehra on Wednesday in Nagpur, has assertively mentioned that “Hindustan is a Hindu Rashtra in every sense and his organisation believes and propagates the same.”

“We are not against anyone,” he said, adding that “Though there is a diversity in terms of tradition, taste and school of thoughts, but the values are the same . We are in favour of peace, brotherhood and prosperity all over the world.”

Affirming that several Muslim delegations have visited him in the past, Mohan Bhagwat said, “Some people spreads illusions and demonizing the Sangh saying that RSS will harm us. We will be thrown out of the country if this organisation prevails further. Keeping these apprehensions in mind some Muslim delegations reached us in the past to clarify the same.”

“They called on us and we too meet with them,” said the RSS Chief adding that “Our senior officials met with these Muslim delegations and the dialogues are continue. This has not just happened over the night but continued for a long time.”

The RSS Chief then advised his people to ensure that religious sentiments should not be hurt in any way while propagating the thoughts or the agenda. All of us should keep this in mind.

“Perception that we are different then the other country men is very dangerous and we have paid heavy price in the past due to such narratives. We have witnessed this in the past and never want to keep walking on the same path. We have to be united and to achieve the same, we need our own Bharat. Though our thoughts, traditions and tastes are different from one another but we all are one in terms of society and nationality,” the RSS Chief assertively said.
