Hyderabad: Hyderabad Metropolitan Development Authority (HMDA) today warned landowners abutting its Outer Ring Road (ORR) project to not take up any kind of temporary or permanent construction in its buffer zone. It said that 15 meters area (50 feet )on either side of the ring road project is classified as the buffer zone.
In a statement, it reminded the land peers that the buffer zone was only meant for the development of greenery as per state government rules. The commissioner of the authority Arvind Kumar held a review meeting on the issue with the officials concerned.
He made it clear that the rules related to the buffer zone must be implemented in a strict manner. He also asked the municipalities and village Panchayats abutting the ORR to give permissions to construction and layout projects after taking into consideration its buffer zone.
