Hyderabad: An intermediate student ends her life

On Sunday, an intermediate student was found hanging in her college hostel room in Kukatpally. According to the police, she was unable to deal with academic pressure, so she ended her life.

Police in Kukatpally reports that Sri Harshitha (19) was studying at Gravity Junior College in Kukatpally, staying in the hostel nearby, and preparing for her NEET exam.

Apparently, she hung herself from the ceiling fan in her room after her roommate left on Sunday night. The roommate informed the hostel authorities after she returned in the evening who became suspicious about the absence of a response from inside.

It was found that Sri Harshitha had died after the door was forcibly opened. Harshitha’s family raised no suspicion about her death and her academic achievements were more often those of the prestigious Kukatpally police, who shifted the body for autopsy.
