Hyderabad: CV Anand meets with traffic officials for a review meeting

In a meeting on Tuesday, the city commissioner CV Anand met with the city traffic police.

In the meeting, the commissioner reviewed numerous traffic details and presented a PowerPoint presentation on traffic police operations. In addition, he provided the officers with helpful tips on how to perform their duties efficiently.

The city’s police commissioner thanked officials for their assistance during the Ganesh festival and other important events in Hyderabad. Additionally, he approved adding more personnel to the traffic wing to improve traffic management.

CP Hyderabad has also recommended focusing on providing free left turns, U-turns, and junction developments, such as zebra crossings, stop lines, and pedestrian pathways, and removing encroachments on footpaths.

In addition, he suggested officials use social media platforms and traffic training facilities to educate and raise public awareness about traffic safety.

Furthermore, the CP of Hyderabad has ordered traffic officials to monitor traffic flow every day during peak hours and ensure the public is not inconvenienced.

Traffic police try to reduce congestion through smart measures

The Hyderabad traffic police department has decided to launch a massive social media campaign to raise awareness about road safety and reduce congestion. The decision was made at a traffic review meeting presided over by City Police Commissioner CV Anand.

CV Anand urged all senior officers to take the lead. He advocated for more engineering measures to alleviate traffic congestion. He directed the officers to be proactive in order to facilitate the smooth flow of traffic.

Joint Commissioner of Police, traffic, Ranganath informed the city police chief of the strength, infrastructure, technology platforms, the sharp increase in the number of vehicles, and other issues.

Anand, who worked as the city’s traffic chief for three years, is known for his reforms and intelligent management. He emphasized the three Golden Es of traffic management to ensure the smooth flow of vehicular traffic in the city.
