Hyderabad Enhances Security on 31st Babri Masjid Demolition Anniversary

As the city commemorates the 31st anniversary of the demolition of the Babri Masjid, increased security measures have been put in place in Hyderabad to avoid any potential protests or unpleasant incidents. On this historic day, efforts are being made to maintain a peaceful environment.

Police detained Abdul Majid, president of the DJS (Democratic Justice Party), as he prepared to speak at a press conference commemorating the demolition of the Babri Masjid.

Hyderabad lawmakers spoke out on this solemn day, sharing their thoughts. In a statement on his official feed, AIMIM (All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen) president and Hyderabad MP expressed, “Jab tak duniya rahegi tab tak #babrimasjid ka Zikr karte rahenge” (We will remember #babrimasjid as long as the earth exists).

On the other hand, BJP MLA Raja Singh wished all Ram lovers a happy anniversary.

The demolition of the Babri Masjid, which took place on December 6, 1992, in Ayodhya, was orchestrated by a huge group of ‘kar sevaks.’ To protect public order and security in anticipation of the day’s significance, strong security precautions have been put in place around Hyderabad. During this commemorative period, authorities are attempting to prevent protest rallies and safeguard the safety of citizens.
