Hyderabad: HDMA to build Landscape Park worth Rs 35 cr at Osman Sagar

According to reports, there are plans for the Hyderabad Metropolitan Development Authority (HMDA) to build a Landscape Park at Osman Sagar expected to be completed by this Dasara at a cost of about Rs 35.60 crore.

In addition to having all the characteristics of well-designed lung space, the park will be a special venue for cultural events with the backdrop of Osman Sagar.

Therefore, the HMDA sees the development as a one-stop destination for art and culture enthusiasts as well as outdoor enthusiasts.

On Wednesday, Special Chief Secretary for Urban Development Arvind Kumar visited the park-related construction projects.

The lung space offers a posh entrance pavilion with welcome arches, an entrance plaza, walkways, and art pavilions that make it stand out from other parks in the city.

A vibrant illumination will be added to the Landscape Park, which already enjoys a favorable geographical location as a result of Osman Sagar’s picturesque enhancements. There has already been a request for proposals for the supply of decorative lights. In addition, the flower terrace will enhance the beauty of the park.

In addition to a food court, the place will also include restrooms, play areas for children, picnic areas, and inner access roads. Along with these amenities, a central pavilion will house a ticket booth and guard quarters. HMDA officials report that 90% of the work has been completed so far, including the construction of pavilions. The landscape work is currently in progress.

The facility is now under construction, according to an HMDA official, and will include picnic spots, inner access roads, children’s play areas, food courts, and restrooms. A central pavilion with a ticket desk and guard quarters will also be constructed. Landscape construction is now ongoing, with 90% of the work—including the pavilion building—complete, the official added.
