Hyderabad Hosts High-Level Business Meeting to Discuss Direct Flights Between India and Kazakhstan

In a significant move to strengthen business and diplomatic ties between India and Kazakhstan, His Excellency Dr. Nawab Mir Nasir Ali Khan, the Honorary Consul of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Hyderabad for Telangana and Andhra Pradesh, hosted a business meeting with Mr. Yusuf Aljawder, Chairman of the Management Board of Astana International Airport, Kazakhstan. The meeting took place at the BTR Greens – MAK Projects in Maheshwaram, Hyderabad, and focused on exploring the potential for operating direct flights between Hyderabad and Astana, Kazakhstan.

During the meeting, Mr. Yusuf Aljawder provided an insightful overview of Astana International Airport and discussed the operations of Terminal Holdings UAE, which manages 12 airports across various countries. This was followed by presentations from Pradeep Panicker, Chief Executive Officer of GMR Hyderabad International Airport Ltd., and Ashish Kumar, Chief Commercial Officer-Aero & Cargo. They shared their experiences in managing airport operations both in India and internationally, setting the stage for discussions on direct flight connectivity between the two regions.
