Iftar hosted by H.E. Dr. Nawab Mir Nasir Ali Khan

H.E. Dr. Nawab Mir Nasir Ali Khan, Honorary Consul of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Hyderabad for Telangana and AP, and his spouse Begum Mehar Fatima Khan hosted a grand iftar party, as part of the holy month of Ramazan, at their residence Xanadu in Jubilee Hills, yesterday evening. The Iftar was graced by who’s who from Hyderabad senior diplomats, bureaucrats, IAS officers, people from the film & medicine fraternity & esteemed businessmen.

The guests relished the grand spread of Central Asian cuisine of Biryani, kababs, pulao shorba, and desserts. Each guest was personally attended by the couple and their children. It was indeed a memorable evening.

Among the Diplomats was British Dy. High Commissioner, Mr. Gareth Wynn Owen; Mr. Salil Kader, Advisor, Strategic Public Engagement at U.S. Consulate General, Hyderabad; Mr. Vikram Jain, Canadian Trade Commissioner graced the occasion.

Among the Bureaucrats Was Mr. Jayesh Ranjan, IAS; Principal Secretary (I&C), Govt. of Telangana; From the medical fraternity and Recipients of Padma Shri in Medicine Dr. Gopi Chand Mannam an Indian cardiothoracic surgeon and the Chief Cardiothoracic Surgeon at Star Hospitals in Hyderabad.

Among the politicians were Alla Ayodhya Rami Reddy, MP, Rajya Sabha, & Asaduddin Owaisi, MP, Lok Sabha.

From the entertainment industry, Mr. Allu Aravind an eminent Indian film producer and distributor of Telugu cinema & co-owner of the Indian Super League club Kerala Blasters FC graced the occasion.

From the corporate world Mr. Sandip Patnaik, Managing Director of JLL(Jones Lang LaSalle) Property Consultants.

Among the prominent businessmen, the Chairman of MAK Projects Mr. Murali Krishna Reddy and Mr. Zeeshan Ahmed of Saro Rubber, Mr. Imran Mirza father of Sania mirza were present on the occasion.
