A fire that broke out in a high-end car workshop in Hyderabad wrecked several luxury cars on Friday. The workshop is located in Attapur, Hyderabad.
The fire broke out in Berlin Motor Works, a local workshop for American and German automobiles in Radha Krishna Nagar in Attapur, according to the police. While no one was injured in the fire, several luxury cars that were at the workshop were wrecked, and the cause of the fire remains unknown.
It was reported that luxury cars like Mercedes, Nissan, and Renault were wrecked in the fire.
After seeing the fire emanating from the garage, the staff at the workshop, which is open until 10 pm daily, immediately notified the police and fire department, who arrived on the scene and doused the flames. Damage to the cars was considerable. It is not yet known how much the damaged property is worth.
The police are currently looking into the matter.

EV battery explosion
An explosion of a battery from an electric vehicle (EV) in Hyderabad resulted in the death of one person and the injury of two others. The incident had occurred recently. It follows at least six reports of fires caused by electric vehicles in less than a month.
It was reported that the police had filed an FIR against the manufacturer of electric scooters, Pure EV. This is the third case of fire involving Pure EV.
The owners had been charging the detachable battery of the scooter, but after a few hours it blew up.
In a statement, Pure EV said it is fully cooperating with local authorities and seeking full details from its users.
According to the company, no record of the user buying the scooter is in the company’s database, and they are investigating whether the scooter was purchased second-hand.
In the last three weeks, three Pure EVs, one Ola Electric, two Okinawa and twenty Jitendra EVs have caught fire.
