The ongoing Hyderabad Metro Rail Phase 2 project continues to make strides as the team focuses on structural valuations of properties in the Old City area. Mr NVS Reddy Managing Director for the Hyderabad Metro Rail Limited (HMRL), provided an update on the work being conducted along the route from Darul Shifa Circle to Sultan Shahi Road and Mogalpura.
According to Mr. Attaullah Khan, Project Engineer, a total of 300 structural valuations have been completed so far under the supervison of Ramana Murthy, Deputy Executive Engineer and Narsing Rao project manager. The work has been divided along the Right-Hand Side (RHS) and Left-Hand Side (LHS) of the corridor, with 200 properties on the RHS and 100 properties on the LHS being evaluated. The assessments are being conducted up to Volta Pan Mahal.
The Hyderabad Metro Rail Phase 2 project, specifically Corridor II, stretches from MGBS to Falaknuma. The project is crucial for improving connectivity and reducing travel times in the city.
