Hyderabad Police Bust Interstate Ganja Trafficking Operation, Arrest Three Peddlers

The Special Operations Team (SOT), Maheshwaram Zone, and Chaitanyapuri police in Hyderabad have successfully apprehended three interstate drug peddlers attempting to carry Ganja to Karnataka.

The arrested individuals, Shivalingaiah Swami, Jorge, and Swami Vinod, are Karnataka residents. They were caught at Kothapet X Roads while reportedly planning to sell the drugs in another state.

The cops seized 64 kilogramme of Ganja, which was divided into 33 packets of 2 kg each. Appa Rao, the fourth accused, is still at large. He is suspected of obtaining the contraband in Odisha and delivering it to the arrested individuals in plastic gunny bags.

This successful police operation foiled drug peddlers’ attempts to transport and distribute Ganja, adding to regional efforts to curb drug trafficking.
