Hyderabad Police Inspectors Transferred Following Election Commission Standards

In a recent incident, seven police inspectors in Hyderabad were transferred to new posts and instructed to report to their new jobs immediately. The city police commissionerate reshuffled inspectors following the application of Election Commission standards.

The following transfers have been effected, according to an order issued by the Hyderabad Commissioner of Police:

  • K. Venkateshwar Reddy, SHO of Jubilee Hills Police Station, has been transferred to the Command Control Centre (CCC).
  • P. Ravindra Prasad, SHO of the Malakpet Traffic Police Station, has been transferred to the Jubilee Hills Police Station.
  • SHO jobs have been assigned to B. Laxminarayana Reddy, Nagam Chandra Shekhar, S. Surender, R. Ravinder, and Yalgonda Krishna at Bowenpally Police Station, SHO Traffic Police Station Malakpet, CCS DD, CCC, and H-New, respectively.

The City Police Commissionerate is following the requirements of the Election Commission, which has resulted in multiple transfers, with 163 inspectors affected recently
