Hyderabad Police Solve Shocking Rape and Murder Case

Hyderabad: Gachibowli police have successfully cracked a terrible rape and murder case that had sent shockwaves throughout the town. A 38-year-old lady was brutally assaulted at a construction site in the Gachibowli region, and her lifeless body was later discovered under unknown circumstances.

The event caused widespread outrage, prompting the development of special police squads tasked with tracking down and apprehending the perpetrators.

During a news conference, G Sandeep, Deputy Commissioner of Police (Law & Order) for Madhapur, offered updates on the investigation, providing light on the progress made in solving this horrible case.

The tragic line of events began on August 27 when the victim’s daughter reported her missing. The woman’s lifeless body was discovered at the Vasavi construction site on August 29, sending shockwaves throughout the community.

The police quickly launched an investigation and organized special squads, resulting to the arrest of the main suspect, Shyamal Roy, a West Bengal native. As revealed by the Deputy Commissioner of Police, his companions Ashok Kumar Sarkar (23) and Alok Sarkar (25), were also seized in connection with the atrocious crime.

On August 25, Shyamal Roy sexually abused the woman, choked her with her saree, and violently battered her face with a huge cement stone. Shyamal Roy allegedly communicated the grisly details of the crime with his associates, Ashok Kumar Sarkar and Alok Sarkar, after the fact.

Madhapur police’s committed special squads not only apprehended the perpetrators but also recovered critical evidence, including Shyamal Roy’s phone, assisting in the investigation and ensuring justice for the victim.
