Hyderabad Police Warn Against Vehicle Irregularities Ahead of Telangana Polls

In preparation for the upcoming Telangana Assembly elections, Hyderabad police have issued a stern warning against vehicles lacking proper documentation in the city. Commissioner of Police Sandeep Shandilya, in a video message, assured residents of comprehensive measures to maintain the integrity of the electoral process.

Commissioner Shandilya emphasized the necessity of essential documents, including the Registration Certificate (RC) and a valid driving license. He highlighted the importance of proper number plate display, stating that non-compliance would lead to immediate vehicle seizure, with release only after the conclusion of polling.

Addressing residents and political leaders, Shandilya appealed for cooperation and urged reporting irregularities to the police rather than taking matters into their own hands. Voters were advised to cast their votes and promptly leave the area to avoid assembling during polling.
