According to the latest updates, Hyderabad and other Telangana districts are on yellow alert.
Temperature in Hyderabad drops
Rajendranagar received the most rain this morning, with 52.3 mm, followed by heavy downpours in Amberpet and Serilingampally. The showers have significantly reduced the maximum temperature, giving residents some relief.
Today’s maximum temperature in the Shaikpet area was 25.7 degrees Celsius. Other areas, such as Khairtabad and Ameerpet, where the temperature was above 40 degrees Celsius until yesterday, have recorded 25.9 degrees Celsius today.

IMD issues yellow alert
The IMD Hyderabad forecast predicts light to moderate rain or thundershowers with gusty winds in all six zones of the city, namely Charminar, Khairatabad, Kukatpally, LB Nagar, Secunderabad, and Serilingampally.
The weather department has issued a yellow alert for the city, indicating that precautionary measures should be taken.
It has also issued an orange alert for the entire Telangana region for today, indicating that heavy rains are expected throughout the state. This alert emphasizes the importance of being prepared and vigilant.
Given that heavy rains can cause flooding and disruptions in daily life, residents of Hyderabad and other affected areas must stay informed about the latest weather updates and take appropriate precautions.
