In anticipation of Munugode by-polls, Congress to visit 175 villages

AICC (All India Congress Committee) announced on Thursday that the Congress party would tour 175 villages in Munugode district in the run-up to the by-election.

As part of the celebrations for Rajiv Gandhi’s birth anniversary on August 20, the grand old party will organize programs. According to Madhu Yashki Goud, the AICC campaign committee chair will organize a padayatra in Munugode on August 13.

August 16 will be the date for the Mandal level meeting following the padayatra. After K Rajagopal Reddy resigned from the Congress Party, Munugode will have by-elections in the next few days. Several AICC secretaries have been delegated Lok Sabha responsibilities by Congress.

Public meeting to be held by Amit Shah in Munugode on Aug 21

BJP leader K Laxman informed Union Home Minister Amit Shah that Amit Shah will hold a public meeting in Munugode on August 21.

As a result of the Munugode by-election, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader and Rajya Sabha MP K Laxman told a news agency, Telangana politics will shift. The people are tired of the TRS party’s dominance and want Telangana to change, which the BJP can only achieve.

“People used to believe Congress would be an alternative, but after watching the federal politics, all regional parties under the Congress umbrella have united with BJP in opposition to Congress,” Laxman explained. The voters in Bihar elected the BJP, but Nitish Kumar abandoned them and aligned himself with the RJD, and in Telangana, Congress is doing the same thing.

There is no doubt that we will win the Munugode by-election. The BJP will form the government in Telangana whenever elections are scheduled. The BJP will gain a foothold in South India through Telangana,” said Laxman.

Congress and TRS are the same. Before and after the elections, the TRS government and Congress government would work together to oppose the BJP. The TRS government supported a vice presidential candidate and even helped elect a Congressman as president. The people of Telangana, on the other hand, are with BJP. With the help of them, we are confident that we will form the government of Telangana,” he concluded.
