Indians can visit Uzbekistan sans visa: Envoy

Hyderabad :  Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Uzbekistan to the Republic of India Farhod Arziev said there was proposal to introduce that Indians can visit Uzbekistan without having visa from next year onwards.

Uzbekistan Ambassador met with GHMC Mayor Bonthu Rammohan during his visit to Hyderabad city here today. During the meeting, Farhod Arziev said already E-visa facility is provided. From the past decades there is good relations between Uzbekistan and India. The Tashkent agreement is proof of good relations between two countries.

Sister city agreement between Bohra city and Hyderabad is proposed at early date. With the Sister agreement there will be mutual exchange of Art &Culture, Education, trade between the cities. Uzbekistan inviting the Hyderabad film industry, there are many attractive historic, tourist places to visit. Uzbekistan students are studying in Osmania University he added. There is good scope to setup pharmacy industry in Uzbekistan.

Mayor DR.Bonthu Rammohan felicitated Farhod Arziev with the Charminar Memento later Mayor, showed the Command & Control Room at 7 th floor, Head Office, and explained how the traffic is monitored and which part of city is inundated during rainy season. (nss)
