Hyderabad: The newly elected Zilla Parihat Chairperons, chairmen, vice-chairmen and others, who won in the local body polls, today called on TRS Working President KT Rama Rao. Housing & Endowments Minister Indrakaran Reddy led them to the party working president.
KT Rama Rao congratulated them for the victory in the local body polls. “Our party won 50 per cent of support and received 85 per cent voting in the polls”, the former minister said. KTR also appreciated the minister, local MLAs and other leaders for the handsome victory. Coordinated efforts have offered positive results in the polls, KTR said and asked the winners and party workers to work for the welfare of the people in their respective segments.
“Our responsibility has increased with the victory in the polls”, he said and instructed the leaders to be in the villages and towns and take up development programs. The government will give necessary funds for developmental works, he said. Those who met KTR were: Indrakaran Reddy, Jogu Ramanna, Rekha Shyam Naik, MLAs Vithal Reddy, Dairy Development Corporation Chairman L Bhuma Reddy, TRS leaders Srihari Rao, Ramkishan Reddy and others. New ZP Chairperson K Vijayalakshmi, vice-chairperson Sagarabai, Adilabad ZP Chairman Janardhan Rathod, vice-chairman A Rajanna and others also met with the party working president. (NSS)
