Hyderabad : Banking on the partial manifesto released which was getting some positive response at field level and already in vogue welfare and development schemes, the Pink Party Boss and Caretaker Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao today directed the 105 candidates in poll fray and MPs to fight for victory in the upcoming polls to retain power by intensifying the campaign to woo voters. In a marathon meeting of about four hours and more KCR closeted with the candidates and the MPs and asked them to take the topics of the manifesto and woo the voters in favour of the ruling party. Turn down strongly the allegations and comments of the opposition parties and try to have upper hand during the campaign KCR asked the leaders present.
KCR is understood to have informed that the grand alliance failed to sort out seat sharing among allies which are sparring. Cash in on such situation by intensifying the campaign, he instructed the leaders in fray.
He sought to know the response from the people at rural pockets on the manifesto promises and asked to intensify the campaign to cash in on the situation in the TRS favour. The TRS boss asked the leaders to take up better poll campaign and make more efforts to ensure that the people believe in the ruling party and its full manifesto coming soon will reach all the sections. The meeting also focused on the next round of the meetings to be addressed by KCR in all the districts that left uncovered. The party has plans to conduct a total of 100 public meetings in segments, districts in about 50 days or so by involving MLA contestants, MPs and local leaders and activists. While chiding smoothly the leaders lagging behind in the poll campaign, the pink party boss asked the MPs to steer the Assembly segments in their purview to steer on the victory path. (NSS)
