Hyderabad: Congress MLA T Jagga Reddy here on Thursday welcomed the statement of Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao that the State government would pay minimum support price to every cotton crop piece. The Congress MLA declared that he would build a temple for CM KCR in his Sangareddy Assembly constituency if KCR kept his word within next one year. He hastened to add that he would build another temple for Congress leaders Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi for creating separate Telangana State. Stating that KCR would not have become the Chief Minister had Congress supremo did not create separate Telangana state.
In an informal chat with mediapersons, Jagga Reddy wished the scheme announced by the CM became a grand success in the State. Commenting on the recent MP elections, he said the party would win in Malkajgiri, Khammam, Nalgonda, Bhongir and Chevella MP constituencies and added that they have an opportunity to win in Peddapalli and Zaheerabad MP seats too.
The Sangareddy MLA claimed that the Muslim and Christian minorities in the State have voted for the Congress in the Lok Sabha elections. He also said the Rs 6,000 per month scheme of Congress president Rahul Gandhi did not go down well with the people of the State while noting that the party would have won more number of seats if it was received well by the people of the State.(NSS)
